You want a great big beard, but yours just isn't growing fast enough and full enough or you just don't  know where to start, well here are 5 secrets to making your beard grow fast and strong. If you want a  big beard worthy of a Viking god, read this!

1-The diet

There's an expression that says "You are what you eat". Your hair is like a plant. It needs nutrients  to grow well. If you eat scrap, you just won't be able to provide the vitamins and minerals your hair  needs. In addition to drinking plenty of water for them to grow. You need to have a well-balanced diet.  You need to make sure your body has enough vitamin B12, vitamin D and zinc if you want your beard  to grow well. We're not here to give you a diet plan, but the better you eat, the better your hair will  grow. If your diet is limited to mcdo, frozen foods and a bunch of junk food, don't be surprised if your  hair is as bad as your cholesterol level.

2-Sleep and stress

Regeneration is accelerated at night. That's when the body repairs itself and cell growth is at its  peak. When your body is not sufficiently rested, blood circulation slows down and this deprives your  hair of the nutrients it needs to grow properly. By the way, this applies to your beard as well as your  hair. If you're the type of person who goes on a 3-day trip or works 90 hours a week, wonder why you  have trouble with your hair. Stress levels cause cortisol levels to fluctuate, which is directly  responsible for the regeneration of your cells. Sleep, relax, take a break and your hair will thank you.

3-Facial care routine

Your face is like the soil in your garden. If you don't take care of it, the vegetables won't grow, or  your cucumbers may be small and ugly by @#!* Get in the habit of cleaning your face with a mild  soap, made for the face and beard. No, not the fluorescent bar stuff or even less with your shampoo.  Forget it! Also use an exfoliator 1-2x a week to free your pores of debris and dirt. Exfoliation will  promote blood flow and increase nutrient intake for your future hair!

4-Products for the beard

You don't need 36,000 products, what you really need are the right products for your needs.  Let's start with beard oil. And no, beard oil doesn't miraculously grow beards. It will help moisturize  the skin in the initial phase of hair growth. If itchy or dandruffy, you need it. If you don't, we move on.

The beard balm will help to give hold thanks to the beeswax. It will also protect and soften the  hair. Think of it as the equivalent of hair pomade, but for the beard.

The boar bristle brush will help exfoliate the skin, clean the hair, and distribute the oil evenly in  your beard and finally, the famous wooden or cellulose acetate comb that will help detangle, move the  hair, without damaging it or causing static.

There are hundreds of beard products. Some are scented, others have less, others are  fragrance-free, others have natural, organic or artificial ingredients. If you have sensitive skin, stay  away from added fragrances or ingredients that you don't understand the name.

Try several until you  find one that works for you. If you're in a relationship, make sure the product smells right to your  significant other. This will avoid any arguments!

5-THE ULTIMATE SECRET that no one dares to talk about!

Patience! Well, yes, that's right. Patience. Unless you're having your parting hair transplanted into  your face, there's no point in waiting for it to miraculously grow. You just have to accept the fact that  your beard is the same today. It may be better in a day or two, in a year, or in 10 years, but it's not  guaranteed. The tips we gave you will help and promote the growth of your beard, and will also help  you in your life in general. If you have a limp beard full of holes, you're not going to look like Jason  Momoa in a week. Sorry to bust your balloon. In these times it's best to keep it short until it gets a  little more dense. Be patient and accept your hair as it is.

Here at Dillinger's we tell it like it is. No bullshit. No pseudo aboriginal snake scrotum oil that will make  you hairy in the morning. It just doesn't exist.
